The Question We Built a Film Around

An easy version of this ad already existed in a dozen of other real estate campaigns, a drone shot over turquoise water, voiceover listing amenities, and a family walking barefoot on virgin sand. But we didn’t want to make that film. And here we landed on a question instead of a pitch: if you could design your life from scratch, how would you do it?

Who even has a ready answer to this question? Most people pause before they answer, which is exactly why we asked it. We weren’t looking for testimonials, but for an unscripted spontaneous answer.

From there, the film becomes his design process. Not a mood board, or a checklist. It’s more like watching someone give themselves permission. Cut by cut, we see the pieces he’d choose: Easy attire, fun, romance, partying..etc. Whatever made him happy, stripped down to essentials, and it all happens to already exist, built and waiting, on Siniya Island by Sobha.

The script wasn’t that all your dreams will come true. It’s a way to say that you’ll find that slow relaxed time when you’re on your property. A thought that comes to corporate employees that would look for easy plans, community, partying, romance, or only freedom! Again, we’re selling a feeling here, not the property, and this is what was delivered through the film.

That’s the strength of the film, it never announces itself as a property tour. It plays like a man redesigning his own life, and the island just happens to be where every choice he makes lands. The humor lives in his character, the little smirk when he realizes how long he’s been settling for less.

We close back on his face, not a property. The same framing as the opening, but a more inspired and hopeful look. A soft line lands the film’s actual message: your life isn’t something you inherit. It’s something you get to design. Siniya Island by Sobha appears not as a punchline but as the quiet proof that the design is buildable, not just imaginable.
